People’s Police University Visits and Exchanges Experience on the Smart Classroom Model at TDTU
In order to strengthen relations, foster cooperation, and expand opportunities for exchanging experience in education and training, on August 7, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed a delegation from the People’s Police University (PPU), led by Colonel, Dr. Tran Xuan Tan – Vice Rector of PPU, for a visit and working session at TDTU.
Welcoming and working with the delegation were Dr. Duong Thi Thuy Van – Head of the Department of Testing and Quality Assessment and Director of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer, along with representatives of various functional units of the University.
During the visit, the PPU delegation was introduced to an overview of TDTU’s development process, educational orientations, and the modern training models currently being implemented. In particular, the delegation had the opportunity to tour and experience the smart classroom system, which includes facilities such as multi-site online classrooms, seminar rooms, digital learning material development rooms, securities company simulation rooms, and commercial bank simulation rooms, etc. This system is a highlight of TDTU’s application of technology in teaching, learning, and student management.
Alongside the tour, leaders from both universities held in-depth discussions to share practical experience in designing, organizing, and operating smart classrooms and computer labs, aiming to enhance training quality and optimize the learning environment. The open and candid exchanges provided useful information and laid the foundation for closer cooperation between the two universities in the future.
PPU is one of TDTU’s amicable partners. The two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding on April 23, 2024. Since then, both institutions have successfully coordinated and organized various practical and effective activities in multiple fields, such as scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops; teaching and testing collaborations; legal education and dissemination; cultural, artistic, and sports exchanges; and agreements between corresponding units to share expertise and experience.
