Ton Duc Thang University Officially Opens the Second Intake of Doctoral and Master’s Degree Programs in 2025
On January 31, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly held the opening ceremony for the second intake of doctoral and master’s degree programs in 2025, officially welcoming 16 doctoral candidates and 156 master’s students into the University’s graduate programs.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau, Vice President of Ton Duc Thang University; leaders and lecturers of the Faculties and units with doctoral candidates and master’s students; as well as representatives from relevant Departments.
In her remarks at the opening ceremony, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau, Vice President of the University, emphasized that master’s and doctoral education is one of the strategic pillars in the development orientation of Ton Duc Thang University. TDTU’s graduate programs are developed in accordance with high academic standards, with a strong focus on fostering independent research capacity, scientific thinking, international publication capability, and a close linkage between research activities and the practical needs of society.
The opening ceremony was not only an occasion to welcome new doctoral candidates and master’s students, but also a reflection of the University’s commitment to accompanying, supporting, and creating favorable conditions for learners to develop their professional expertise, contribute knowledge to the community and society, and work toward the goal of building a research-oriented, autonomous university with strong international integration.
