Ton Duc Thang University Organizes the Program “Celebrating Lunar New Year Away from Home – the Year of the Fire Horse 2026” for International Students
On February 6, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the program “Celebrating Lunar New Year Away from Home – the Year of the Fire Horse 2026” for international students of the University.
Attending the program were Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Son – Vice President of the University; Ms. Dang Thi Kim Anh, M.A. – Head of Department of Student Affairs; Leaders of the Faculties and relevant units; and more than 40 international students currently studying at TDTU.
The program was held to provide students who are unable to celebrate Tet with their families with an opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere together, share end-of-year stories, and prepare to welcome a warm and meaningful Lunar New Year. At this program, students had the chance to meet and receive New Year wishes along with meaningful gifts directly from the Presidential Board, Leaders of the Department of Student Affairs and the Faculties.
Delivering his speech at the program, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Son shared that Tet is a time for family reunion; however, many students are unable to return home to celebrate with their families for various reasons. To ease these difficulties, the University is always ready to accompany and support students during these special days and in all circumstances. On behalf of the University, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Son also gave his New Year wishes to all international students, wishing them a new year filled with joy, success, and meaningful experiences.
The event was held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, demonstrating the University’s sincere care and wholehearted support for students.
