The Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University Organizes an Online Hub for the Conference on Studying and Thoroughly Grasping the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030
Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 854-CV/DU of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the City People’s Committee, on November 17, 2025, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the online hub for the Conference on studying and thoroughly grasping the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
At the TDTU hub of the Party Committee, participants included comrades from the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the University’s Party Committee; party cell leaderships under the Party Committee; the Executive Committee of the Trade Union; the Executive Committee of the Youth Union; together with all Party members and leaders of affiliated and subordinate units.
At the Conference, Comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Central Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - promulgated the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030. Thereafter, Comrade Dang Minh Thong - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee - presented the implementation content of the Action Program to execute the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030. Comrade Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People’s Council - presented and promulgated certain contents regarding the organization of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People’s Councils at all levels for the term 2026-2031. At the Conference, Comrade Tran Luu Quang – Secretary of the Central Party Committee and Secretary of the City Party Committee – delivered a directing speech to promulgate the Conference, combined with information on several fundamental contents of the 14th Plenary Session of the Central Executive Committee.
At the end of the program, Comrade Van Thi Bach Tuyet – Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee – presented specific contents to guide the implementation of the Resolution and provided several notes to ensure the successful rollout of the Resolution and its Action Program.
Accordingly, Party Committees and Party cells throughout Ho Chi Minh City must identify this as an important task, a phase of political activity that creates consensus among the people through the implementation of the main tasks and solutions: Rapid and sustainable economic development based on innovation of the growth model, restructuring the economy with a focus on science and technology and innovation as the principal driving force; re-architecting development space according to a multi-centric – integrated – hyper-connected mindset, mobilizing all resources to invest in building a synchronous, civilized, modern urban infrastructure system; comprehensively building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity; continuing to invest in developing the City into a major national center for education and training; mobilizing and effectively using resources to protect, care for and improve the health, stature, life expectancy, and quality of life of citizens; managing and using resources effectively, protecting the environment, promoting green transition, and proactively responding to climate change, etc.
