Ton Duc Thang University Attends National Conference on the Resolution of the 2nd Plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee
On April 13, 2026, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) established an online connection point to attend the National Conference on studying, thoroughly grasping, and implementing the Resolution of the 2nd Plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee.
The Conference was held in both in-person and online formats, with the main venue at Dien Hong Hall, the National Assembly Building, and connected to various locations at ministries, sectors, localities, agencies, and units nationwide.
At the TDTU connection point, the Conference was attended by members of the Standing Committee of the University’s Party Committee, Party cell committees under the University, and all Party members of the University.
The Conference aimed to unify awareness and action regarding major policies and decisions of the Central Committee, and to help officials and Party members firmly grasp the core contents, new points, and key focuses of the Resolution. On that basis, Party committees and organizations at all levels will translate these into appropriate action programs and plans in line with practical conditions, ensuring synchronized, consistent, and effective implementation from the central level to the grassroots level.
The Conference program included five key topics: regulations guiding the implementation of the Party Charter; political and ideological work within the Party; strengthening inspection, supervision, and discipline; continuing to enhance the Party’s leadership in anti-corruption, wastefulness prevention, and the fight against negative practices in the new context; and the conclusion of the 2nd Plenum on socio-economic development, finance, public investment, and public debt management for the 2026-2030 period, associated with the goal of achieving double-digit growth.
At the Conference, delegates also heard the directive speech by General Secretary and State President To Lam on key tasks for the coming period, thereby further strengthening unity in awareness, enhancing responsibility, and reinforcing political determination across the Party, the people, and the armed forces.
