TDTU Participates in the Online Conference on the Launch of the “Nationwide Emulation for Innovation and Digital Transformation” and “Digital Literacy for All” Movements in the Education Sector
On August 7, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a connection point to participate in the online conference on the launch of the “Nationwide Emulation for Innovation and Digital Transformation” and “Digital Literacy for All” movements in the Education sector. The conference, hosted by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), was conducted in a hybrid format, connecting with 600 points across various Departments of Education and Training, as well as higher education and vocational education institutions nationwide.
The conference aimed to implement Plan No. 953/KH-BGDĐT dated July 10, 2025, for launching the “Nationwide Emulation for Innovation and Digital Transformation” and “Digital Literacy for All” movements in the Education sector, as directed by the MOET.
At the TDTU connection point, the conference was attended by Dr. Vo Hoang Duy – Vice President of TDTU, along with representatives from the leadership of various Departments and Faculties under the University.
Speaking at the launch of the emulation movement, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc shared: “Digital transformation is no longer an option but has become a necessity, an irreversible trend that determines national competitiveness and the sustainable development of the country. Especially in the Education sector, digital transformation opens up unprecedented opportunities to enhance teaching and learning quality, innovate educational methods, personalize learning pathways, and expand access to knowledge for all citizens.”

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc also urged the entire Education sector to raise awareness and make breakthroughs in changing mindsets, digital transformation, scientific and technological development, and innovation; to reform leadership, management methods, and operational models, transitioning from “traditional” to “digital” spaces based on digital data. In addition, he called for reviewing and advising competent authorities to issue mechanisms and policies that promote the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in education; as well as encouraging policies for organizations, enterprises, and individuals to support the movement with financial resources, technological resources, and human resources.
At the conference, representatives from several Departments of Education and Training as well as higher education, vocational education, and general education institutions exchanged experiences, initiatives, and practical solutions, demonstrating their commitment to spreading the momentum of innovation and digital transformation to every teacher, student, and local resident.
