On November 9, 2022, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a Conference of Party Committee delegates to elect the Party Committee for the term 2020-2025.
Representatives of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University and College attending the Conference were Ms. Dinh Thi Thao Trang - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee; Ms. Do Thi Ha - Member of Standing Committee, Head of Organization Committee; Ms. Dang Thuy Khanh Van - Member of the Executive Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department; and Mr. Duong Quang Tri - Member of the Executive Committee, Chief of the Office of the Bloc Party Committee.
The Conference was attended by 100 delegates representing 292 party members of the entire Party Committee.
The Conference seriously reviewed the leadership role of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee for the term 2015-2020 since the Third Congress (June 2020 until now), evaluated the achieved results, pointed out the limitations, and proposed specific and practical solutions to successfully implement the task in the coming time. The new Executive Committee of the Party Committee for the term 2020-2025 was elected, including 11 comrades.
Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Dinh Thi Thao Trang recognized and highly appreciated the Party’s efforts in implementing the targets of the Resolution of the Third Congress and solving the existing problems pointed out in the inspection conclusions, especially on Party building work and cadre work. She also suggested that the new Executive Committee continue to review the goals of the term that were decided by the Third Congress to plan the implementation and build a cooperative relationship between the Party Committee, the University Council and the Presidential Board effectively to carry out the political affairs of the University.
The Executive Committee of the Party Committee for the term 2020-2025 elected Mr. Vu Anh Duc as Secretary, Mr. Tran Trong Dao as Deputy Secretary, and Ms. Pham Thi Minh Ly as Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee.
