Ton Duc Thang University Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Can Tho City Federation of Labor
On October 22, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the Can Tho City Federation of Labor held a ceremony to sign a cooperation agreement. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in education and training, scientific research, technology transfer, digital transformation, and human resource development.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will jointly organize training and professional development programs to enhance the professional knowledge and skills of trade union officials and workers. They will also promote scientific research, technology transfer, and the application of digital transformation solutions in line with practical needs.
The cooperation contributes to the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation; and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, dated August 22, 2025, on breakthroughs in education and training development. These efforts are expected to enhance the capacity of trade union officials, strengthen trade union organizations, and promote harmonious and stable labor relations and sustainable development.
As part of the program, the delegation attended the opening ceremony of a professional development course for trade union officials jointly organized by TDTU and the Can Tho City Federation of Labor. This activity connects the cooperation agreement with practical training needs, laying the groundwork for the two institutions to implement meaningful collaborative programs aligned with their respective functions and strengths.
Through this agreement, TDTU continues to fulfill its role in human resource development, scientific research, and community service while strengthening its connections with trade union organizations and contributing to the development of trade union officials, workers, and society.
