The Expanded Executive Committee Conference of the Trade Union of Ton Duc Thang University for the 2025 - 2030 Term

On December 23, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the Expanded Executive Committee Conference of the University Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 Term.

Attending the Conference, on behalf of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labour, was Comrade Le Thi Kim Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labour and Head of Working Group No. 1 for local area management. Representing Ton Duc Thang University was Comrade Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President of the University and Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, together with 47 delegates from Trade Union Groups and affiliated grassroots trade unions under the Ton Duc Thang University Trade Union.

The Conference was organized to focus on in-depth discussions reviewing the results achieved, identifying existing limitations and shortcomings in the recent period, and collecting contributions to further refine the orientations and tasks of the University Trade Union and higher-level trade unions in the forthcoming phase.

At the Conference, delegates heard the report evaluating the activities of the grassroots Trade Union for the 2023 - 2025 period and outlining the orientations and tasks for 2025 - 2030; a consolidated report on feedback regarding the documents of the City Trade Union Congress and the draft Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; and the announcement of the decision to extend the term of the Trade Union Congress to 2030, together with the personnel of the Executive Committee of the Ton Duc Thang University Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.
