Enterprises give priority to recruiting new graduates

On the morning of October 16, 2020, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a signing ceremony of cooperation agreement with An Phu Gia Construction Joint Stock Company.

The attendees of the ceremony were Mr. Hua Dinh Tuan, General Director; Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Director of Purchasing Department; and Ms. Tran Thi Bao Uyen, Director of  Personnel Administration Department.

Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Director of Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni; Dr. Tran Minh Tung, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering were present at the ceremony as well.

The agreement suggests that both parties will promote cooperation in many fields such as research, training, career orientation as well as internships with recruitment priority to TDTU students, and etc.

The upcoming development strategy of An Phu Gia Company is to focus on recruiting and training a contingent of young and highly skilled personnel that are also imbued with corporate culture. Mr. Hua Dinh Tuan expects that the number of new graduates recruited will account for 60-70% of the human resources. Accordingly, it is focused on associating and cooperating with major universities to find quality human resources.

Mr. Tuan also highly appreciated the quality of graduates from TDTU, especially their discipline, politeness and professionalism. He emphasized that these are distinguishing features that every business needs from their employees.

An Phu Gia Construction Joint Stock Company is a reputable contractor in the field of traffic infrastructure construction, irrigation, housing projects, and etc. Over 14 years, An Phu Gia has increasingly asserted its capacity and its position in the marketplace by having more than 63 essential projects, and cooperating with multiple large companies such as Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), and Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB), to name a few.
