The Defense & Security Education Center (DSEC) of Ton Duc Thang University Organizes the 2026 Conference on Joint Training in National Defense and Security Education
On June 26, 2026, the Defense & Security Education Center (DSEC) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the 2026 Conference on Joint Training in National Defense and Security Education (NDSE) to enhance coordination with educational institutions in the delivery of the NDSE curriculum.
During the conference, the Center’s Board of Management presented a report on the educational outcomes of the NDSE course for students from partner institutions during the academic year 2025–2026. Furthermore, details regarding the implementation plan for the academic year 2026–2027 were disclosed, accompanied by discussions on training methodologies, student management, and the necessary provisions for concentrated study and boarding.
Delegates engaged in extensive discussions concerning boarding student management, study programs, and strategic solutions to enhance collaborative efficiency between the Center and its partner institutions. The Center’s Board of Management welcomed and addressed these suggestions, agreeing on their implementation for the new academic year.
At the conclusion of the conference, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the TDTU Defense & Security Education Center and the partner institutions, formalizing their agreement on joint instructional arrangements for the academic year 2026–2027.
Prior to the commencement of the conference, representatives from the partner institutions toured the campus facilities, including classrooms, military training grounds, firing ranges, residential complexes, and other amenities designed for student management and daily operations at the Center.
The conference provided a valuable opportunity for the Center and partner institutions to evaluate past collaborative achievements and align on the strategic direction for the new academic year, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching quality and administrative management for the National Defense and Security Education course.
