TDTU Participates in the National Conference on the Thorough Study and Implementation of Four Resolutions of the Politburo

 

On September 16, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted an online venue to participate in the National Conference on the Thorough Study and Implementation of Four Resolutions of the Politburo.

The Conference was organized by the Politburo and the Secretariat in a hybrid format, connecting the main venue at the Dien Hong Hall of the National Assembly Building with the venues of ministries, sectors, localities, and units nationwide, under the attendance and direction of General Secretary To Lam.

At the TDTU venue, the Conference was attended by Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee – President of TDTU; members of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the University Party Committee; the Executive Committee of the University Trade Union; together with members of the Presidential Board, Party cell secretaries of subordinate units, and leaders of Departments, Faculties, and other affiliated units of the University.

Overview of the TDTU venue

The Conference aimed to thoroughly disseminate and rigorously implement the four Resolutions of the Politburo to central-level ministries, sectors, and agencies, as well as to provincial and municipal Party Committees and Party Committees directly under the Central Committee; Party organizations at all levels; agencies and institutions; officials and Party members; and those working in the fields of foreign affairs, energy, education and training, and healthcare.

Specifically, at the Conference, the delegates listened to four thematic reports:

(1) The report entitled “Core Contents of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, dated August 22, 2025, of the Politburo on Breakthroughs in the Development of Education and Training, and the Action Program for the Implementation of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW”, delivered by Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Member of the Politburo and Prime Minister;

(2) The report entitled “Core Contents of Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW, dated September 9, 2025, of the Politburo on Key Breakthrough Solutions to Strengthen the Protection, Care, and Improvement of People’s Health, and the Action Program for the Implementation of Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW”, delivered by Comrade Le Thanh Long, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister;

(3) The report entitled “Core Contents of Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW, dated January 24, 2025, of the Politburo on International Integration in the New Context, and the Action Program for the Implementation of Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW”, delivered by Comrade Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs;

(4) The report entitled “Core Contents of Resolution No. 70-NQ/TW, dated August 20, 2025, of the Politburo on Ensuring National Energy Security through 2030, with a Vision toward 2045, and the Action Program for the Implementation of Resolution No. 70-NQ/TW”, delivered by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy.

At the conclusion of the thematic presentations, General Secretary To Lam delivered directive remarks at the Conference, emphasizing the importance of organizational implementation and the responsibility of organizational leaders in ensuring the successful execution of the aforementioned resolutions.

“I urge every ministry, sector, locality, unit, and each official and Party member to immediately begin action in the spirit of ‘words must go hand in hand with deeds’ and ‘never put off until tomorrow what can be done today.’ Leaders must take full responsibility for results, without shirking or evading duties. Each quarter and each year, we must conduct serious, transparent reviews; duly commend those who dare to think, to act, and to take responsibility for the common good; and, at the same time, strictly address violations and negative behaviors,” stated General Secretary To Lam.
