Aproximately 2,400 lecturers, staff and students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) enthusiastically took part in Blood Donation Day for Community in 2017. Within two days of 10th and 11th October 2017, thanks to the encouragement of TDTU Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, lecturers, staff and students are willing and cheerful to participate in this annual social activity. At this time, there are many students having donated blood 6 times or more, especially student Lê Thị Thanh Nga (from the Faculty of Business Administration) having offered 8 times.
It is estimated that there will be 2,000 units of blood for saving lives in these two days. This activity is also a chance to educate TDTU youth to have practical compassionate actions, and be ready to help community. It is allied to the Ethical Integrity Education exercising on a daily basis at the University.
