Ton Duc Thang University Hosts the 2026 National Conference on Finance and Economics

On July 17, 2026, the Center for Applied Economics Research and Training (CAER) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the Vietnam Conference on Finance and Economics 2026 (VCFE 2026) under the theme "Green Finance, Blue Finance, Innovation, and Digital Transformation: Creating New Drivers for Sustainable Growth and Development."

VCFE 2026 was initiated and hosted by CAER in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Securities Business, the Vietnam Institute for Digital Economy Development, and the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Ton Duc Thang University. The conference served as a platform connecting academics, experts, policymakers, and business leaders to exchange research findings, share practical experience, and propose policy recommendations aimed at promoting sustainable economic development.

The conference attracted more than 60 research papers from scholars representing three overseas universities and research institutes, 25 universities and research institutions in Vietnam, and eight enterprises operating in the finance, banking, securities, and technology sectors. Among these, 14 papers were selected for oral presentation during the conference.

As part of the program, the Vietnam Sustainable Finance and Economics Forum 2026 (VSFE 2026) was also held, featuring presentations on building resources for sustainable business development, applying artificial intelligence and ESG data in banking governance, ESG practices in financial institutions, green bond issuance, and sustainability reporting. These discussions provided valuable practical insights into green transformation, digital transformation, and innovation within the financial sector.

The strong participation of universities, research institutes, professional associations, and businesses further affirmed Ton Duc Thang University's academic reputation and its capability to organize high-quality scientific events. The conference also contributed to strengthening research collaboration and fostering closer connections between the University, government agencies, and the business community in pursuit of sustainable development in the fields of finance and economics.
