From July 12 to 15, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted the International Conference on Advanced Materials and Sustainable Development (iCAMSD 2026).

Organized in collaboration with leading international universities

Initiated and hosted by Ton Duc Thang University, iCAMSD 2026 was co-organized with several prestigious universities worldwide, including Flinders University (Australia), Keele University (United Kingdom), Ghent University (Belgium), Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia), Banzarov Buryat State University (Russia), and Central University of Karnataka (India).

Positioned as an international academic forum, iCAMSD 2026 focused on emerging research trends in advanced materials, structural mechanics, nanotechnology, and intelligent systems for sustainable development.

The conference attracted nearly 200 scientific papers from researchers representing universities and research institutes across 16 countries, providing a platform for scientists, experts, and technology enterprises to exchange research findings, foster collaboration, and promote the transfer of scientific achievements into practical applications.

Notably, papers selected through a rigorous peer-review process by the Scientific Committee will be published in the Advanced Structured Materials book series by Springer Nature.

Renowned international scientists participate

A highlight of the conference was the participation of distinguished keynote speakers, including internationally recognized scholars who have made significant contributions to modern science. Several of them are ranked among the top 1% most influential scientists worldwide.

The keynote speakers included Prof. Holm Altenbach (structural mechanics), Prof. Krasimir Vasilev (biomaterials), Prof. Adam Lee (sustainable chemistry), and Prof. Peixuan Guo (RNA nanotechnology).
