Ton Duc Thang University welcomed and worked with the delegation from the University of Melbourne, Australia

On April 15, 2024, the delegation of the University of Melbourne, Australia led by Prof. Pip Nicholson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, and a number of lecturers, scientists and Heads of faculties/institutes visited Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). 

Welcoming and working with the delegation were Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach, Director of the International Cooperation, Research and Training Institute, and the leaders of several TDTU departments and faculties. 

At the meeting, the two sides discussed the cooperation of student and lecturer exchanges between the two universities, including joint training programs, short-term student exchanges, lecturer and researcher exchanges, and organizing scientific conferences/workshops in fields in which both sides have advantages and mutual interests, e.g. Information Technology, Industrial Arts,  Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Social Sciences & Humanities.

The University of Melbourne is currently ranked 37th on the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024, 14th on the QS World University Rankings 2024, 50th on the THE Rankings in Arts and Humanities, and 100th on the THE Rankings in Social Sciences, Engineering and Technology.
