Ton Duc Thang University Launches ‘the Journey Seeking Creative Marketers 2017’

Following the success of the contest in the two previous seasons, the Faculty of Business Administration at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), in cooperation with Sales and Marketing Executives International - Vietnam (SMEI Vietnam) officially launched the contest "the Journey Seeking Creative Marketers 2017". The launch of the contest took place on 18 March 2017 with the participation of Dr Tran Trong Dao (PhD), Vice President of TDTU; Dr Pham Thi Minh Ly (PhD), Dean of Faculty of Business Administration TDTU;  Mr. Ho Huy Huyen, General Director of International Sales & Marketing Association in Vietnam; as well as representatives of various sponsors, media organizations and thirty teams of students from universities around Ho Chi Minh City.

At the competition launch event, Dr Tran Trong Dao said: "The contest is both a playground and a practical lecture hall. This is not only an opportunity for students to develop their talents, but also a useful and meaningful activity for the universities and businesses involved. " A representative of  one of the key enterprises supporting the contest, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mong Thu, Sales Director of Hoang Thu Yen Co., Ltd, said: "We are very eager to see the enthusiasm from the students themselves. We are really willing to create the conditions that will enable them to develop their potential to the fullest.

Along with the growth in scale, " the Journey Seeking Creative Marketers 2017" is a highly specialized playground initiated by the TDTU Faculty of Business Administration. The main topics in each rounds relate to the real-world problems the businesses themselves face. Specific situations force teams to flexibly and creatively apply the knowledge they have learned to solve the marketing problems faced in reality. The final round will take place at TDTU on 06/05/2017 and will be aired on television for students nationwide to watch. This is also one of the novel aspects compared with the two previous seasons, promising to bring students a contest full of not only challenges, but ultimately, glory as well.
