On October 27, 2023, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly held a Graduation Ceremony - September 2023 phase for 2 Doctors, 63 Masters and 3,577 bachelors, engineers, architects and pharmacists.
Attending the ceremony were Dr. Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Chairman of the Science and Training Council and President, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice chairman of the Science and Training Council and Vice President, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Vice chairman of the Science and Training Council, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau - Vice President, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly - Vice chairman of the University Council, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, as well as Deans and Leaders of the Units under TDTU.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President of TDTU, expressed his thanks to parents for always accompanying the University, facilitating and encouraging students to make efforts and strive to achieve high results in studying, researching and training. He also gently advised the new graduates that they had become well-trained citizens, starting their new lives and fulfilling their responsibilities to themselves, their families and society. He said “It's time to act instead of sitting still, waiting for a miracle to happen, let's find out the cause of poverty and take action to make the country strong and prosperous”.
During the Graduation Ceremony for September 2023 phase, the University honored and rewarded students with efforts and high academic achievements. There was 1 graduate with the Excellence result, 353 graduates with Very Good result and being on schedule; 9 graduates with Very Good result and good English Language Proficiency Learning Outcomes (8.0 IELTS), and 5 graduates with Very Good result and making high achievements in scientific research (co-authors of published articles in ISI/Scopus database).
On behalf of 3,500 graduates of this phase, Mr. Duong Gia Huy, from The Faculty of Business Administration with Cumulative GPA of 8.85, said: “Thank you Ton Duc Thang University for turning me into a person who dares to dream and thinks big, who knows how to commit to their dreams and aspirations”.
Especially, at this Graduation Ceremony, TDTU had 2 post graduate students who successfully completed the training program and achieved a PhD in Computational Science. The Doctoral study program in Computational Science at TDTU is designed to ensure modernity and integration with similar doctoral study programs around the world. The achievements of the new Doctors are the pride of the University, contributing to enhance the name of the University in its mission of training high-quality human resources for the country and contributing to the development of society.
After 26 years of building and development, TDTU has continuously made outstanding achievements, becoming a major and prestigious educational institution in the country and the world. This is a journey full of glory, challenges and pride. The University has provided society with 36 doctors, 1,843 masters, 63,209 bachelors, engineers, architects, and pharmacists with high professional expertise.
