On the afternoon of June 1, 2023, the Union of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the Children's Day and Nguyen Duc Canh Scholarship Award 2023 event for children whose parents are the University’s lecturers and staff.

Speaking at the opening of the event, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa, Vice Chairman of TDTU Union wished the "little delegates” a happy Children’s Day, and encouraged them to continue striving in learning and training in order to become good children and grandchildren of their parents, grandparents and Uncle Ho.

With activities designed specifically for children, including making balloons, painting, sand painting, doing quizzes with prizes, etc., the event has attracted the participation of nearly 230 children to have fun, mingle, and receive attractive gifts.

On this occasion, TDTU Union praised and awarded hundreds of Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships to students with excellent academic performances to motivate them in continuing to develop their talents and try to become a model student following the family's precious tradition.

Children's Day and Nguyen Duc Canh Scholarship Award event is an annual activity of the University's Union, demonstrating its close interest in the country's future generation. In addition, this occasion has also created a healthy playground, giving the children of lecturers and staff the opportunity to meet and make friends.
