Ton Duc Thang University’s Journal of Information and Telecommunication (JIT) Increases Its CiteScore and Achieves Q1 Ranking in the Scopus Database
According to June 2025 data from Scopus ( www.scopus.com), the Journal of Information and Telecommunication (JIT) of Ton Duc Thang University has increased its CiteScore from 7.5 in 2023 to 8.2 in 2024, ranking 21st out of 160 journals in the field of Computer Science. The steady increase in CiteScore over the years highlights the journal’s growing academic reputation and reaffirms its position as a leading Q1 scientific journal in the Scopus database.
Currently, JIT is the first and only journal from Vietnam in the field of Computer Science indexed in both Scopus and Web of Science databases.
The Editor-in-Chief of JIT is Prof. Dr. Hab. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh – a globally renowned scientist and the chairman of over 20 international scientific conferences on information technology/artificial intelligence. He is currently a member of the Polish State Council for Professorship.
Launched in March 2017 and published by Taylor & Francis (United Kingdom), JIT is one of two English-language scientific journals of Ton Duc Thang University. To date, it has released nine volumes, featuring over 235 high-quality research articles contributed by scientists from around the world. As a peer-reviewed, online journal, JIT provides free global access to its content.
