323 boarding students of Ton Duc Thang University have been vaccinated against COVID-19

On August 11, 2021, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) cooperated with Tan Phong Ward, District 7 to organize vaccination against COVID-19 for students staying in the dormitory of the University.

The total number of students being vaccinated on August 11 was 323, 95 of whom were foreign students studying at TDTU.

These are students who staying in the dormitory during the COVID-19 outbreak in Ho Chi Minh City. Being unable to return to their hometown for the epidemic avoidance, these students were facilitated to stay in the University's dormitory. Realizing the difficulties of students when surrounding services are temporarily suspended in line with the City's policy to prevent the pandemic, while it is not convenient to receive supplies from their families, staff, lecturers and many sponsors have contributed to provide meals and means to prevent covid-19 for students.

After being vaccinated, students were provided with vitamin C and antipyretic drugs to prevent a febrile reaction following the injection according to the instructions of the health authority.
