University of Oulu visits and works with Ton Duc Thang University

On the afternoon of December 12th, 2018, Oulu University (Finland) visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). The meeting was attended by Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice President of TDTU; Dr. Kari Kumpulainen, Vice Principal of the Teacher Training School of the University of Oulu together with the leaders of the functional units of the two universities.

The two sides exchanged information on future cooperation such as organizing educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels in two phases for dual degree programs; cooperation in scientific research; exchange students, exchange professors; trainings and especially teacher training for the Vietnam-Finland International School, etc. This is also a new step for TDTU to expand its cooperation with Finnish universities in particular and Finnish education system in general.

The University of Oulu is one of the largest universities in Finland and in the city of Oulu. Founded in 1958, there are about 16,000 students studying. According to the 2019 rankings of THE, University of Oulu is ranked among 251-300 in the world.
