Opening Ceremony of the Second Intake of the Bachelor of English Language Program for Students of the People’s Security University
On June 5, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), in collaboration with People’s Security University (PSU), held the Opening Ceremony for the Bachelor of English Language Program for 127 students of Cohort D34 (Phase 2, including the second, third, and fourth classes).
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau, Vice President of TDTU; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Le Hoang Ngan, Vice President of PSU; representatives of functional units from both institutions; and all students enrolled in the program.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau congratulated the students on being selected for the program and emphasized that TDTU would provide the best possible learning conditions to help them successfully complete the curriculum, enhance their language proficiency, and meet the increasingly demanding requirements of the People’s Public Security Force.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Le Hoang Ngan expressed his appreciation to the Party Committee, Board of Presidents, faculty members, and staff of TDTU for their close and responsible cooperation in delivering the first class and in organizing admissions and the opening of the three subsequent classes. He also acknowledged and highly valued the effectiveness of the collaboration between the two universities in training activities.
He congratulated the 127 students admitted to the program and encouraged them to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and commitment; actively engage in learning, research, and self-improvement; and successfully complete the program. He emphasized that their efforts would contribute to the development of a high-quality workforce capable of meeting the requirements of maintaining security and public order in the era of international integration.
Previously, in April 2026, the two universities jointly organized the opening ceremony for Phase 1 of Cohort D34, with 40 students enrolled. This is the first program implemented under the cooperation framework between the two institutions, marking a new milestone in their educational partnership.
