Conference on Signing the Emulation Covenant for National Defense and Self-Defense Tasks and the Determined-to-Win Emulation Movement of Emulation Cluster 20 in 2026
On the afternoon of May 26, 2026, at Lotus Hall, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Conference on Signing the Emulation Covenant for the Implementation of National Defense and Self-Defense Tasks and the Determined-to-Win Emulation Movement of Emulation Cluster 20 in 2026 was held.
The conference was organized to implement key emulation objectives, strengthen coordination and experience-sharing among member units in carrying out national defense and self-defense tasks, and promote the roles and responsibilities of participating units in building strong self-defense forces capable of meeting mission requirements in the new context.
Attending the conference were representatives, leaders, and officers in charge of national defense and self-defense affairs from units belonging to Emulation Cluster 20. In 2026, TDTU assumed the role of Head of Emulation Cluster 20.
During the conference, delegates discussed and agreed on key emulation objectives and targets for 2026, focusing on political and ideological education, strengthening self-defense forces, improving training quality and combat readiness, enhancing coordination, and ensuring security and safety within each unit.
Speaking at the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trong Dao – President and Commander of the TDTU Military Command Board – emphasized the important role of the Determined-to-Win Emulation Movement in improving the effectiveness of national defense and self-defense tasks. He also encouraged all units to continue promoting solidarity, proactiveness, and creativity in successfully fulfilling the contents of the signed emulation covenant.
At the end of the conference, representatives of the units in Emulation Cluster 20 officially signed the emulation covenant for the implementation of national defense and self-defense tasks and the Determined-to-Win Emulation Movement for 2026 in an atmosphere of solidarity, unity, and strong determination.
