Ton Duc Thang University Accompanying Students at the Admission and Career Counseling Day 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City
On March 8, 2026, the Admission and Career Counseling Day 2026, organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, was held simultaneously in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. At the event in Ho Chi Minh City, the booth of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) attracted thousands of candidates, high school students, and parents from many provinces and cities who came to visit and learn about the University’s admission information for this year.
At the event, the TDTU consulting team comprising lecturers and staff from various faculties, institutes, and the Khanh Hoa Branch, directly addressed candidates’ questions regarding admission methods, study programs, the learning environment, international exchange opportunities, as well as the University’s tuition fee and scholarship policies.
One of the highlights at the booth was a series of experiential activities “try-a-career”. Students had the opportunity to participate in games and challenges related to specific fields, such as “The Talking Pill” organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, knowledge challenges like “Understanding Finance” and “Numbers That Speak”, as well as experiencing the sport of golf. These activities allowed students to gain a more direct and practical understanding of different fields of study before making decisions about their future academic paths.
In 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) offers admission to 51 majors in the Standard Program, 20 majors in the Advanced Program, 11 majors in High Quality in English Program, 10 majors in the Foundation High Quality in English Program, 16 majors at the Khanh Hoa Branch, 15 majors in the International Joint Training Program and 14 majors in the Foundation International Joint Training Program. The University plans to apply three admission methods: holistic admission consideration based on the results of the High School Graduation Examination combined with personal competencies; admission consideration based on the results of the Competency Assessment Test organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; and direct admission in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Besides, TDTU’s International Joint Training Program with universities in Australia, England, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, France, and New Zealand continue to provide opportunities for students to study in an international environment and receive degrees from foreign partner institutions.
To support and encourage students, in 2026 the University will allocate over 95 billion VND for scholarship programs such as the Valedictorian Scholarship, Talent Scholarships, and Talent Incentive Scholarships, along with various preferential policies for students of high schools that have signed cooperative agreements with TDTU.
With careful preparation and provision of useful admission information, the TDTU booth became a popular stop for many students at the event, supporting them in making well-informed decisions about their fields of study and future careers.
