On the afternoon of April 19th, 2018, Binh Dinh People's Committee and Ton Duc Thang University organized a comprehensive cooperation signing ceremony on the basis of potential and mutual capabilities of the two sides. The signing ceremony at TDTU was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Provincial committee member and Vice president of Binh Dinh People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of Binh Dinh Federation of Labor; Directors of Departments of Home Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Finance and Department of Science and Technology; Deputy Directors of Department of Education and Training, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Department of culture, sports and tourism, etc. along with other Departments of Binh Dinh Province. The President of TDTU along with Presidential Board and leaders of different departments and faculties participated in this event.
With the objective of Ensuring quality and efficiency to promote sustainable development for both sides, TDTU and Binh Dinh People's Committee agreed that more and more activities will be implemented immediately, which will focus on human resource training for Binh Dinh province; implementing the training model at the addresses which are compatible with the existing forms and fields at TDTU; awarding scholarships to poor students from Binh Dinh Province studying at TDTU; introducing candidates who are planning cadres of the province to participate in training programs at foreign universities that are partners of TDTU, or to study at TDTU under the joint program; conducting scientific research activities and technology transfer activities; coordinating to develop a series of research programs, consulting on improving the business environment and investment promotion in accordance with the real needs of the province as well as the planning of the Government , concerned ministries and branches.
Delivering speech at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Vice President and Provincial Committee Member of Binh Dinh People's Committee expressed good impression on TDTU because of not only the capacity of research and education but also the educational environment that is friendly to the school culture, which is worthy of a best regional university. Binh Dinh People's Committee expected that the two sides will continue to research and promote the available strengths of each other, which aims at the extensive cooperation in more diverse fields in the future.
