On the afternoon of the 8 th January 2020, a delegation from the People's Committee of Binh Thuan Province came to Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) to summarize the comprehensive cooperation program between the two units. The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee along with leaders of the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs, the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Home Affairs. The event was attended by Prof. Le Vinh Danh, President of TDTU and leaders of faculties, departments, institutes and centers that were assigned to implement the agreement with the Province.

Binh Thuan is the first locality to sign a comprehensive cooperation agreement with TDTU. In the period of 2017-2020, the two sides have effectively implemented new content, including training, retraining and skill development for civil servants-officials; technology transfer research; consulting; and investment promotion.

Leaders of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee greatly admire the achievements that TDTU has made in 2019, congratulating the University and wishing TDTU to continue to have more brilliant achievements in the new year 2020.

With the goal of continuing to promote the achieved results, the two sides decided to strongly deploy focused cooperation in areas such as technology transfer, planning, health care and environmental monitoring. These are strong areas of TDTU. This cooperation will contribute to supporting the province in improving the quality of general education, deploying the application of technology and advanced teaching methods in English, information technology and soft skills for high schools; supporting the building of school libraries; as well as supporting the introduction of technology into governance activities; and fostering managerial skills for the province's personnel.
