Faculty of Finance and Banking worked with Mirae Asset Securities (Vietnam) Limited Liability Company

On the afternoon of October 16, 2019, Mirae Asset Securities (Vietnam) Limited Liability Company (Mirae Assest Vietnam) represented by Mr. Tran Huy Dang, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Branch, visited and worked with the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Welcoming the delegation was Dr. Hoang Cam Trang, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Nghiem Quy Hao, Head of the Business Cooperation Department and some lecturers of the faculty. The meeting focused on discussing the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding that the two sides will sign in the near future, which emphasizes in detail the expansion of job opportunities for students.

Mr. Tran Huy Dang highly appreciated the educational environment and facilities at TDTU, especially the classrooms and business simulation rooms. The simulation environment helps students a lot in getting to know the real business world while studying at the university. He also expressed his wishes that Mirae Assest Vietnam will have the opportunity to participate in practical skills training for TDTU students in the future.

Dr. Hoang Cam Trang said that TDTU pays great attention to practical training as well as knowledge and expertise for students. In the Faculty of Finance and Banking, students have access to real-life loan appraisals of large businesses from the early years.

Mirae Assest Vietnam belongs to Mirae Asset Financial Group (Korean), established in 2007. So far Mirae Assest Vietnam has 8 representative offices nationwide with a total charter capital of up to 5,000 billion VND, ranking second in Vietnam.
