Education & Times Newspaper: VFIS Continues to Be Recognized as a “Finnish-Oriented School”

Education & Times – Vietnam–Finland International School (VFIS) has once again been recognized by the Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI) as a “Finnish-Oriented School.”

Vietnam–Finland International School (VFIS), a member school of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), has once again been officially recognized by the Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI) as a Finnish-Oriented School.

Notably, according to EDUFI, VFIS is currently one of only three schools worldwide to hold this recognition.

This milestone carries special significance, not only acknowledging VFIS’s sustained efforts in comprehensively implementing the Finnish education model in Vietnam and the region, but also affirming Ton Duc Thang University’s strategic vision in pioneering the introduction and promotion of advanced global educational values in Vietnam.

The achievement contributes to enriching the national education ecosystem and nurturing a new generation of global citizens capable of meeting the demands of national development in a new era.

Vietnam–Finland International School was designed and constructed under the supervision of Finnish architects.

According to EDUFI’s evaluation, VFIS clearly demonstrates the core values of Finnish education through its educational philosophy, curriculum, teaching methodologies, learning environment, assessment practices, and commitment to students’ holistic development.

The School has successfully established an advanced educational environment where students are encouraged to develop independent thinking, creativity, collaboration skills, responsibility, and lifelong learning competencies.

Being recognized as a “Finnish-Oriented School” signifies that VFIS meets EDUFI’s rigorous requirements for integrating Finnish educational principles into school operations and is officially authorized to use this designation within the international education community.
