The US News University Ranking System has just announced the results of the best global universities for its 7th ranking period in 2021. According to the results, Ton Duc Thang University was ranked 623 out of 1,500 ranked universities from 86 countries.
The US News Best Global Universities Rankings have been ranking global universities since 2014. They are based on Clarivate's data and a set of 13 criteria, including the ones that carry more weight as follows:
- Global Research Reputation: 12.5%
- Regional Research Reputation: 12.5%
- Number of publications that are among the 10% most cited: 12.5%
- Total number of Publications: 10%
- Normalized citation impact: 10%
In August 2020, the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) also placed TDTU in the 701-800 group of the world’s best university rankings in 2020.
This shows that the position of TDTU on the world education map has been firmly established.
With clearly defined goals and appropriate strategies, TDTU has been on the right track and has attained significant achievements after 13 years of implementing the plan since 2007.
