On October 31 and November 1, 2026, the Final Round of the 6th National Robotics Innovation Competition 2026 will officially take place at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
The competition is organized under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, with the Center for Science, Technology and Young Talent Development serving as the standing organizing body and Ton Duc Thang University as the host institution.
Under the overarching theme “Vietnam Steadily Advancing into a New Era,” the competition provides an environment for children and young people to learn, gain hands-on experience, develop their creativity, and progressively master technology. It also aims to promote STEM education and encourage scientific and technological research and application in schools.
In 2026, the National Qualifying Round attracted 612 teams comprising 1,064 registered contestants. The Regional Rounds were held in Nghe An, Dong Nai, and Hung Yen in September 2026. The Final Round brings together 276 teams, comprising 517 contestants from 19 provinces and cities, competing in four categories: R1, R2, R3, and R4.
In the Final Round, teams in categories R1, R2, and R3 will take on challenges under the theme “Star Cruise – An Intergalactic Journey,” while category R4 will compete under the theme “Building Modern Infrastructure.” Through designing, assembling, programming, and operating robots to complete tasks on competition fields, contestants will have opportunities to demonstrate their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills while exchanging experiences and learning from peers who share their passion for robotics.
