Opening Ceremony of the second intake of doctoral and master's degree programs in 2025 at TDTU.

On the afternoon of January 31, 2026, the Opening Ceremony for the second intake of doctoral and master's degree programs in 2025 will take place in Hall 10F, Tan Hung Campus, Ton Duc Thang University. This ceremony will welcome 16 doctoral candidates and 156 master's students officially embarking on their postgraduate studies and research.

The ceremony is expected to be attended by the University's Board of Directors, heads of departments, lecturers, and doctoral candidates, master's students, and undergraduate students. This is a significant event, marking the beginning of the learning and research process for students in a rigorous, modern, and integrated academic environment.

The program includes:

  • Announcement of the Decision recognizing doctoral candidates, supervisors, and dissertation titles;
  • Presentation of congratulatory letters to the new doctoral candidates;
  • Announcement of the Decision recognizing students admitted to the master's degree program;
  • Presenting congratulatory letters to new postgraduate students;
  • Awarding scholarships for doctoral and master's programs.

According to the Development Strategy to 2037, doctoral and master's degree training is one of the important pillars of Ton Duc Thang University, aiming towards a research-oriented, autonomous, and internationally integrated university model. Postgraduate programs are built to high academic standards, focusing on developing independent research capacity, scientific thinking, and the ability to publish internationally, linked to the practical needs of society.

The Opening Ceremony is not only an occasion to welcome new doctoral and master's students, but also demonstrates the University's commitment to accompanying them throughout their studies, research, and professional development.
