Ton Duc Thang University Hosts the 10th International Conference on Advanced Engineering – Theory and Applications (AETA 2025)
From December 11 to 13, 2025, the 10th International Conference on Advanced Engineering – Theory and Applications (AETA 2025) took place at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
The AETA Conference was founded by Ton Duc Thang University and was first organized in 2013. Since then, the conference has been hosted on a rotating basis in various countries worldwide, including the Republic of Korea (2016, 2023), the Czech Republic (2018, 2024), and Colombia (2019). The year 2025 marks a special milestone – the 10th edition of the conference – with the participation and collaboration of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), Pukyong National University (Republic of Korea), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan – China), the University of Waikato (New Zealand), and Universiti Sains Malaysia. This collaboration reflects the expanding academic cooperation network of AETA and affirms the conference’s reputation within the international research community.
A scientific forum for strategic technology fields
AETA 2025 brought together 99 research papers authored by researchers from 11 countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan – China, New Zealand, India, Sri Lanka, Iraq, and Vietnam.
The conference featured numerous high-quality scientific presentations focusing on the presentation, discussion, and dissemination of the latest research findings in the country’s strategic technology fields. The topics covered a wide range of contemporary research directions, including next-generation information systems (5G/6G, IoT, smart antennas); applications of artificial intelligence in engineering; robust control and smart energy systems; renewable energy such as solar and wind power; smart grids, energy storage technologies, and power system stability; robotics and intelligent sensors; as well as advanced trends in cybersecurity, blockchain, and quantum computing for engineering security solutions.
Notably, all papers accepted at AETA 2025 will be published globally by Springer in the international scientific proceedings series Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE), which is indexed in prestigious databases such as Web of Science and Scopus.
The 10th AETA 2025 Conference, with the strong participation of scientists from many countries, once again affirmed the prestige and outstanding quality of academic events organized by Ton Duc Thang University. The conference contributes significantly to promoting scientific research and innovation. This is not only a core objective of TDTU but also a concrete commitment to the successful implementation of the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
