The new scientific result of Ton Duc Thang University on isogeometric approach in mechanics in an exceptional-ranked journal

Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) introduces to all lecturers, students, and people who are interested in the new research result of TDTU named “An isogeometric approach for dynamic response of laminated FG-CNT reinforced composite plates integrated with piezoelectric layers”. This study was published in the well-known journal Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, belonging to the Elsevier publisher. Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering is an ISI journal, with an Impact Factor (IF) of 3.949 according to the Web of Knowledge (US) and an H-index of 155 according to SJR (Spain). According to TDTU’s ranking system for peer-reviewed journals, Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering is ranked “exceptional”  in the subject area and category of “Computational Mechanics” by SJR.

Professor Nguyen Thoi Trung shared the highlights and two new contributions of the research including: “Firstly, the paper extends Isogeometric analysis (IGA) for dynamic response control of laminated FG-CNT reinforced composite plates integrated with piezoelectric layers. Secondly, the paper explores the effectiveness of the piezoeletric plate with multiple CNTRC layers compared to those of previous similar studies with only a single CNTRC layer.”
