The 5th NAFOSTED Conference on Information and Computer Science

On the morning of November 23rd, 2018, in the Auditorium 2A of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), NAFOSTED Conference on Information Science and Computing (NICS) was officially begun.

NICS is an annual international conference organized by the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED), which provides a forum for local and international scientists to present the latest research findings in the field of information and computer science.

In 2018, NICS was co-hosted by TDTU and NAFOSTED; and is technically sponsored by IEEE. The conference attracted 140 articles from scientists from many countries in the world such as Korea, Taiwan, USA, UK, Canada, Indonesia, Israel, Germany, India, Thailand, Czech Republic, Mauritius, France, Norway, Japan, Morocco, China and Vietnam. Following the peer review process of the program committee with over 200 international scientists, 72 accepted papers presented at the conference and 10 presentations. The conference booklet is included in the IEEE Xplore Database and will be submitted for inclusion in the Scopus Scientific Database.

NICS 2018 is one of the most successful events of the NICS conference series with the highest number of submissions, especially from foreign authors. This year's conference was attended by more than 20 foreign scientists, over 100 scientists and many graduate students, especially with the participation of experts from domestic and foreign enterprises.
