TDTU Startup Wings 2020 Contest

With the purpose of creating conditions for students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and other public universities in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to have the opportunity to design and develop ideas for starting a business and try it out in reality; thereby accumulate start-up experience for the future in the future; Faculty of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in collaboration with Bricon Company (Korea), High-tech Business Incubator (SHTP-IC), Coca Cola Vietnam Company organized a start-up contest for students: TDTU Startup Wings 2020.

The total prize value in the Contest is up to USD 10,000 with additional support from SHTP-IC and domestic and foreign enterprises. 

The contest will take place from October 30, 2019 to February 28, 2020.  

Important information: 

  • Registration: 30/10/2019; online at website: https://feee.tdtu.edu.vn;
  • Hakathon Round: is expected to take place from November 8, 2019 to November 10, 2019. Individual or team contestants (contestants / teams) gather at TDTU for 24 hours to discuss in groups and work with mentors to complete the project / idea then have a presentation to defend the idea;
  • Preliminary Round: is expected to take place from November 8, 2019 to November 10, 2019. Contestants / teams present their ideas, listen to criticisms and defend their ideas before the Judges. The panel of judges will select the 5 best teams to reach the final. The best team will receive a prize of USD 1,000;
  • Final Round: expected in February 2020. Candidates / teams bring the ideas into reality and present them to the Judges. The winning team will receive a $ 5,000 prize.

Target participants: 

  • All TDTU students;
  • TDTU alumni and students graduate within 1 year from the date of registration for the contest;
  • Students majored in engineering sector of other public universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Students can participate individually or in groups.
