Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) announces and cordially invites lecturers, PhD students, graduates, and undergraduates to attend the Public Lectures in July 2019 on the Topic: "Introduction to 5G ”.

Speaker: Dr. Tran Van Hai, Director of computing and telecommunications, Government Accountability Office (GAO); ie the US Central Auditing Organization; Visiting Professor of George Washington University, Washington DC.

Content: Fifth generation mobile network (The 5th Generation or 5G) is the next generation of fourth generation (4G) mobile technology being used in Vietnam and other countries around the world. According to the inventors, the 5G network will be about 100 times the speed of the current 4G network, opening a new generation of technology with many attractive features for users. The 5G network is expected to hit the market by 2020.

In the program, the Speaker will introduce the basic concepts of mobile telecommunication networks, the generations of mobile networks from 1G to 4G, special features of 5G network and the ability to deploy the 5G network in the world as well as in Vietnam.
