In order to create an atmosphere of exciting emulation to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2023), Emulation Division 2 (under the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor) organized the Staff - Employees Football Tournament 2023 on the afternoon of July 9, 2023 at the 2-star FIFA stadium of Ton Duc Thang University.

There were 4 teams participating in the tournament including: Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, University of Finance - Marketing and Ton Duc Thang University.

Dr. Huynh Van Sau, Head of Education Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor and the fans who are staff - employees from the universities in the Emulation Division 2 come and cheered for the teams.

The athletes participated actively and played for the colors of the flags of their units following the sports spirit of "Honesty - Solidarity - Health". In the end, the University of Finance-Marketing team excellently won the championship, the second prize went to Ton Duc Thang University and the third prize was awarded to Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics team. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the athletes with outstanding achievements to win the Style Award, the Top Goalscorer Award and the Outstanding Goalkeeper Award. In particular, the promotion award was given to of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.

The football tournament for staff and employees of the Emulation Division 2 (Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor) in 2023 ended successfully, contributing to promoting the movement of body training among staff and lecturers at the Universities in the Emulation Division 2, thereby encouraging each staff and employee to constantly improve their health to better serve their work tasks in the coming time.
