In order to create opportunity for students majoring in Electrical - Electronics Engineering to access modern automation equipment and technologies, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam (MEVN) organized the Mitsubishi Electric Cup Automation 2021 contest (MECA 2021) with the theme "Factory Automation Smart Solution" to help students with their knowledge application into practice, as well as building teamwork skills, team spirit, and creativity in all circumstances. The prize is up to 15 million VND for the winning team (with trophy and certificates from MEVN).
Participants: All students of Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of TDTU. Students register in groups: groups of 2-4 students (maximum 2 4th-year students, combined with 1-2 3rd-year students or students from other faculties).
Time: from January 25, 2021 to July 30, 2021.
Location:
Qualifying and semi-final rounds: TDTU, 19 Nguyen Huu Tho, Tan Phong ward, District 7, HCMC.
Final round: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education.

In the semi-finals, the jury will choose 3 teams with the best idea, each team will be sponsored 10 million VND to implement the model. Expected time: March 15, 2021.
Final round: 3 teams representing the University will attend the final round of MECA 2021 organized by MEVN at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education in June 2021.
