Ton Duc Thang University Organized a Music and Sharing Program “Let’s Talk about Love”

On March 22, 2024, the Department of Student Affairs (DESA) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a music and sharing program titled “Let’s Talk about Love” with the aim of nurturing positive emotions towards a healthy and pure love through music and stories shared by speakers, improving mental health and increasing the sense of happiness of students, lecturers, and staff.

The program was attended by Ms. Dang Thi Kim Anh (MA) - Head of the Department of Student Affairs, Head of the Organizing Committee of the program; Mr. Tran Le Anh Huy - Deputy Head of the Department of Student Affairs, Secretary of the University Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee; lecturers and nearly 1000 TDTU students. Particularly, the program welcomed guest speakers, including Mr. Nguyen Hieu Tin (MA) - Vice Head of the Tourism Department, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities; Mr. Nguyen Phong Viet - poet, journalist; Psy.D. To Nhi A, and singer Xuan Dinh K.Y - Top 7 Vietnam Idol 2023. The program was hosted by Ms. Trinh Phuong Thao (MA) - Lecturer of TDTU Division of Life Skills Training.

While the first speaker, MA. Nguyen Hieu Tin shared lovely and memorable love stories, bringing enlivening emotions to students, the poet Nguyen Phong Viet provoked many thoughts about potential issues in love; therefore, we must learn to find happiness within ourselves. Psy.D. To Nhi A conveyed the message “Love yourself before loving others, love yourself to love others, and love life properly”.

During the program, the speakers also sat down to listen and share, addressing the problems in love relationships. Throughout the program, suitable songs were performed by the TDTU Singing Group and the guest singer.
