On March 7, 2023, the Delegation of the Department of Education and Training together with the School Boards of 50 high schools in An Giang province led by Mr. Tran Tuan Khanh - Deputy Director of the Department and Mr. Le Trong Tri - Head of the Personnel Department visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). Welcoming the Delegation were Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice President and leaders of functional units from TDTU.

As per the previous cooperation agreement, TDTU has cooperated with An Giang province to create chances for students to access, visit, and experience the university environment and be oriented for their future careers. In terms of supporting students, TDTU provides 2.2 billion VND in scholarships to provincial students in various forms, such as admission priority scholarships for high schools signing an agreement with TDTU, study encouragement scholarships, scholarships for students under the preferential treatment policy, scholarships during the COVID-19 pandemic, etc. Over the years, nearly 1,000 students from An Giang province have graduated from TDTU.

Mr. Tran Tuan Khanh expressed his sincere thanks to TDTU’s Presidential Board and functional units for warmly welcoming the Delegation. He said that he has worked and visited TDTU many times in the past 10 years. He has directly witnessed the development of the University. He believes that after the on-site visit, the School Boards of the high schools in the province will have closer access to the management and administration skills, which will be applied in their work. He also expressed his gratitude to TDTU for its continuous, positive and timely support for students from An Giang and wished that the University would continue to accompany the province in the coming time. In addition, the School Boards of the high schools also praised TDTU's facilities, living conditions, modern library resources and exchanged some cooperation plans.

In 2023, TDTU together with the School Boards of 50 high schools of An Giang province signed an MOU, in which both sides agreed to cooperate on the contents of education, training, scientific research, technology transfer, admission counseling, scholarships for the province’s students studying at TDTU, and training high-quality human reources to serve the needs of socio-economic development of the province. In addition, the University applies support policies on tuition, scholarships, dormitory and has priority admission methods for this year's intake of students who are from partner high schools in An Giang province.
