On the morning of February 20, 2019, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy had a field trip to learn about the experiences of construction, facilities management and university management of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). 

Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice President, together with Leaders of Department for Inspection, Legislation & Security, Department for Facility Management and Inspire Library met the delegation. The representatives of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy included leaders of the General Administration Office, Equipment Management Office, Undergraduate studies Office, Postgraduate studies Office, Information Technology Center and Youth Union.

Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy visited Inspire Library, meeting rooms, halls and classroom management system of TDTU. Ms. Pham Thi Minh, Deputy Head of the General Administration Office of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy was impressed with the friendly security team and clean environment with green spaces of TDTU. The representative of delegation exchanged and worked with TDTU on autonomy and governance, with the desire to perfect the governance model of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy to be ready for the upcoming development strategy of the University on the path to autonomy.

Dr. Tran Trong Dao emphasized: TDTU as the first comprehensive autonomous university, will support Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in terms of experience and personnel for the process of university autonomy. TDTU always tries its best for the reform and development of Vietnam's education system in the coming decades.
