On March 18^th and 19^th 2017, approximately 300 grade-12 students from Nguyễn Văn Linh High School (Bình Thuận Province), Lương Văn Can High School (HCMC) and Vĩnh Xương High School (An Giang Province) had the experience of becoming Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) “internship students”.

Over a 24-hour period at the university, students had the opportunity to experience the student of current students through beneficial activities such as taking part in simulated classes of 37 disciplines of various faculties, including Economics, Finance, Foreign Languages, Labour Relation, Sports Management, Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Law, Pharmaceuticals,   as well as Industrial Fine Arts, to name but a few.  In addition they took part in  physical training through multiple outdoor activities and fourteen optional sports subjects taught at TDTU; participating in the “TDTU Connection” Gala as well as various other TDTU clubs, teams and groups.

Through these valuable experiences, “TDT internship students” obtained a more active, mature and useful working knowledge for their future career orientation, resulting in many unforgettable memories. Nguyễn Thị Lệ Thu, a student of class code 12A5 at Vĩnh Xương High school said: “After the journey, I realized that hands-on experience was very different from what I had originally imagined. This is a fantastic university - well-equipped with modern facilities and the lecturers are devoted and enthusiastic. They give a lot of practical exercises and problem-solving situations. We have a better rapport with each other through team games; and have wonderful moments at the end of high school. I would like to say thank-you to all the lecturers who offered us the opportunity to take part in this useful program; I would also like to say “thank-you” to the team leaders who accompanied us over the past 24 hours.
