Ton Duc Thang University book fair: A bridge to the "new horizons"

To celebrate Vietnam’s Book Day on April 21st, as well as honoring the value of books and reading culture, encouraging faculty, staff and students to read more books to intellectualize themselves, Inspire Library and The TDTU department of Media and Public Relations organized the book fair "New horizons" from 20 to 21/04/2017.

The book fair boasted more than 10,000 books from a variety of different subjects such as economics, scientific-technology, travel-culture, life skills, health, and literature. The event took place immediately in front of the TDTU library, attracting the interest of lecturers and students. Not only could they find themselves books with reasonable prices, the students also participated in other activities such as talking with musician-writer Hamlet Truong, doing fun puzzles with rewards and enjoying the Special musical repertoire.

On this occasion, the organizers of the contest "Written for TDTU student life " awarded the authors of the best articles, and launched the note with the same name, collecting 114 stories about meaningful student life at TDTU. This is the meaningful gift, and is the deep sentiment which TDTU students sent to the school on the occasion of celebration of the 20th birthday of the School (24/09/1997-24/09/2017).
