The Czech Republic's Environment Minister is visiting Vietnam from the 20th to the 22nd of November in 2019. The Czech Republic's Embassy in Vietnam, the Federation of Czech Industries, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Ton Duc Thang University have jointly organized the Czech-Vietnamese Business Forum to create opportunities for further contact and exchange between Czech and Vietnamese enterprises.

Specifically, the forum provides an opportunity for Vietnamese and Czech enterprises to meet, expand customer networks, and to potentially expand mutual trade and investment. This is especially in light of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), which will take effect in 2020.
