Ton Duc Thang University Hosts the International Conference on Environmental Technology and Innovations – ICETI 2025
On November 27-28, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted the 5th International Conference on Environmental Technology and Innovations (ICETI 2025).
ICETI 2025 was organized by Ton Duc Thang University jointly with seven other universities, including Nagaoka University of Technology (Japan), INJE University (Korea), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (Malaysia), Ming Chi University of Technology (Taiwan), National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan), Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering – National Central University (Taiwan), and Water Innovation, Low-Carbon and Environmental Sustainability Research Center – National Taiwan University (Taiwan). ICETI 2025 attracted more than 130 scientists, administrators, and experts from Vietnam and abroad.
Advanced Technologies: A Direction for Sustainable Development
ICETI 2025 centers on four thematic groups: (1) Environmental Technology and Engineering; (2) Industrial Safety and Environmental Health; (3) Sustainable Development and Natural Resource Conservation; (4) Renewable Energy, Circular Economy, and Climate Change. The presentations focus on addressing global issues related to the environment, safety, and occupational health.
A highlight of ICETI 2025 is research on water treatment technologies, advanced materials, environmental sensors, artificial intelligence, and big data modeling in the assessment of occupational health and safety risks and pollution forecasting, opening up extensive innovation potential for resource management and sustainable development.
ICETI 2025 featured more than 100 presentations from 25 universities and institutes across Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and beyond, with 88 of these presentations accepted for inclusion in the conference proceedings. The event further reinforced the reputation and quality of academic activities organized by Ton Duc Thang University.
The conference served not only as an academic forum but also as a bridge connecting researchers with enterprises and government agencies, providing a platform for research outcomes to be transferred and applied in practice. Through specialized discussion sessions and networking activities for collaboration and technology transfer, the conference contributed to strengthening the link between research results and societal needs.
ICETI 2025 is expected to become a prestigious academic forum where research ideas are presented, critically reviewed, and developed into long-term collaborative directions.
