The Faculty of Safety Engineering of Technical University of Ostrava works with the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety

The Faculty of Safety Engineering of Technical University of Ostrava (VSB) had a meeting with the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) on 31 October 2019. 

The meeting was attended by Associate Professor Jiri Pokorny, Dean and Professor Ales Bersnatik, the Vice Dean; Dr. Nguyen Thi Mai Linh, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety; Dr. Pham Anh Duc, Vice Dean; and a number of lecturers.

The two sides discussed cooperative measures to organize short-term programs, like summer school, as well as long-term training programs for dual masters and PhD degrees. In addition, the representatives of VSB introduced the Health, Safety & Environment Management major (HSE) as an area for future collaboration.

VSB has been a strategic partner of TDTU since October 2011. In recent years, the two universities have successfully worked together on: Establishing cooperation programs for 2+2 undergraduate program and stage doctoral degrees; Exchanging lecturers and students; Organizing major international conferences, seminars, and workshops on a variety of topics
