An opening ceremony for a course titled “Interaction with Vietnamese children in English”

In the afternoon of June 28, 2019, Ton Duc Thang University's Creative Language Center (TDT-CLC) had an opening ceremony for a teacher development course titled Interaction with Vietnamese children in English for 115 participants who are English teachers from high schools of a full contract with TDTU. The course takes place from June 28 to July 31, 2019

The course seeks to improve English skills for students by innovating teaching methods for teachers. The program was written and instructed by Mr. Dang Quoc Thong, a lecturer of applied linguistics from University of Houston (Houston, Texas, USA)

This teaching method has been studied since 2015, which has been experimented in many different environments and proven to be effective in encouraging and creating English motivation for students.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, 'I am very overwhelmed. TDTU is a much more modern, beautiful environment than that of University of Houston,' said Mr Thong Q. Dang. He also added his belief in the success of this course.
The course officially started right after the Opening Ceremony.
