On the morning of May 6, 2019, the breathtaking final round between the Student football team (Futsal) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the Student football team (Futsal) of Thuyloi University determined the 2019 Vietnam Student Futsal Championship.
Right from the middle of the first half, TDTU team excellently opened the score with a skillful shot from player (Nguyen Duc Phuoc) wearing number 04 jersey. The coordination among the players was excellent as they continued to maintain a steady teamwork with full of energy and calmness. TDTU players repeatedly attacked the opponent's goal. The Thuyloi University team also performed well when continuously solved difficult situations; and in the last minute of the first half, the team suddenly rose and evened the score at 1:1.
During the second half, both teams offered viewers with nice and fair play although the match score continued to remain 1:1. During the penalty shoot-out, TDTU Team did not disappoint their fans when they officially took down the opponent to win the 2019 National Championship.
Earlier, on April 21st, TDTU Team won convincingly the championship of 2018 Futsal Vietnam University Game (VUG) (Van Hien University Team) with a score of 4:1, also won the HCMC regional championship and went straight ahead into the National Finals of VUG.
Considered as a strong technical team with an equal lineup, along with a variety of sensible tactics, TDTU "warriors" in turn defeated formidable opponents to step to the highest position with the achievement of winning all 9 matches.
