Export and Technology Management Program for Students from the University College of Northern Denmark

From April 1 to April 12, 2019 students from the University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) joined the short-term course on Export and Technology Management at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). In the speech at the closing ceremony, UCN students said that they learned many useful things from the course. And TDTU is the bridge for international students to access Vietnamese culture, people and businesses.

Short-term courses at TDTU are one of the educational programs in corporation between TDTU and UCN. This year, the outcome of the Export and Technology Management Course is a project-based case study, which helps students develop comprehensive skills through the activities namely sketching, designing, presenting, developing perspective, producing and marketing, as well as visiting 2 enterprises in the industry of designing and wood materials.

Dr. Tran Trong Dao, TDTU’s Vice President, emphasizes that in the era of globalization, the development of student exchange programs will shorten the educational gap among countries. In the time coming, TDTU will develop short-term programs taking various forms such as apprenticeship.

UCN has a main campus in Aalborg City, which is one of Denmark's vibrant port cities. UCN currently conducts training programs in more than 40 sectors, in which 19 majors are taught and studied in English with the participation of nearly 14,000 Danish and international students from 50 countries around the world. UCN is one of 10 founding members of University Consortium International (UCI) which was initiated by TDTU and launched on April 4, 2019.
